The Issues:
ADDRESSING RISING COSTS AND STRENGTHENING THE ECONOMY
As a husband and a father, I understand how rising costs are squeezing Wisconsin families. Groceries, household items, energy prices, and childcare costs... inflation is impacting us all. I will take my experience as a small business owner to the Assembly to balance budgets and work to provide tax relief for the middle class, eliminate taxes on retirement income for seniors on a fixed income, and provide needed relief for families struggling to pay for childcare. I will also work to make smart investments that will help Brown County grow by strengthening job training and apprenticeship programs.
HEALTHCARE THAT WORKS FOR US
As costs continue to rise, healthcare is no exception. I will protect those with pre-existing conditions from losing their health coverage, support measures to expand postpartum care for mothers, and find common sense solutions to increase access and reduce costs. Wisconsinites deserve access to quality affordable healthcare, and I will make sure they have it.
PUTTING OUR STUDENTS FIRST
As a father of two, I know how important a great education is for our kids. That's why I support efforts to ensure our schools are able to provide our students a quality education and also support reforms to give parents more information and options when it comes to their child's education. I will always push for policies that truly put our kids first.
KEEPING BROWN COUNTY SAFE
I served as a Green Bay Police Officer for over 15 years and know what it takes to keep our streets safe. Unfortunately, soft-on-crime policies have left the door open for criminals, and politicians have not secured the southern border, resulting in human and drug trafficking here at home. I will ALWAYS work to hold criminals accountable, keep violent offenders off our streets, support law enforcement, and work to combat the rise in human and drug trafficking in Wisconsin.
INVESTING IN OUR INFRASTRUCTURE
Safe and reliable roads are essential to Wisconsin’s economy. Responsible investments in our local roads, highways, and bridges will keep our communities connected and goods moving safely.
LISTENING AND TAKING ACTION
People are tired of politicians legislating only from the capitol. I promise to be your citizen legislator who is always present in the community and listening to the issues you deal with on a daily basis. I will take what I have learned with me to Madison to work on solutions that we can all be proud of.
